Description:

Rabies vaccine developed using embryonated duck eggs (DEV) reduced vaccine reactions over nervous tissue based vaccines but was less immunogenic. DEV is still used in some parts of the world but has been widely replaced by human diploid cell vaccine. Rabies, duck embryo vaccine, 1 dose. Lilly, control 2KX09A, exp. 9/26/1970.
